Bankaool, the first online bank in Mexico, has partnered with DC Payments, a provider of ATM managed solutions, to expand the footprint of its ATM network across the country.

“As part of our on line business model and with our clients’ needs in mind, we have partnered with DC Payments to increase our presence and offer our clients more points to make financial transactions, such as cash withdrawals and balance consultations, free of charge or fees,” Bankaool CEO Francisco Mere said in a press release.

According to the press release, DC Payments is the second largest global ATM provider, with 20,000 machines placed. To date, the company has assisted Bankaool with the deployment of more than 40 units in Estado de Mexico, Mexico City, Sinaloa, Jalisco, Baja California Sur and the Yucatan.

“Our goal is to end this year with 200 ATMs located in the main tourist and retail hubs in Mexico City, Monterrey, Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Tijuana, Puerto Vallarta and Nayarit, in order to speed up cash withdrawals in an efficient, cost-free way for our clients,” Mere said.
